Well, the smartest thing to do is to just take a look at some of my free materials. If you like them, you’ll probably like my paid stuff too. If you don’t like them, you won’t.

But I think I’m supposed to do the whole autobiography thing now, so here goes:

I might be rocking a set of six-pack abs and getting paid by fashion brands that want to use my image nowadays, but life wasn’t always so “glamorous”.

Flashback to 2010, I was this awkwardly tall, awkwardly shy kid who had nothing going on for him except for being not-totally-terrible at playing the guitar (of course, no one knew that because I was too shy to talk to other kids, let alone girls).

I was in high school at the time (a traumatic period for a lot of us..), and I couldn’t talk to people for the life of me. Naturally, I didn’t really have any friends at school (apart from one or two equally lost souls from another class), so during breaks I’d either wander down the school corridors aimlessly while listening to Linkin Park, or I’d read books and magazines.

I would often flip through different magazines like Men’s Health and I’d admire the amazing physiques of the models… and I’d often think, “damn, I wish I could look like that”.

I mean, here I was, alone and miserable, while these guys were doing photo shoots on the Thailand islands or in Cancun, being featured in magazines, having boatloads of fangirls, living this amazing lifestyle, and – get this – getting paid for it!

One day during recess I bought another Men’s Health magazine to kill the time. Only, it turned out I had bought a Men’s Health training book, not a magazine.

When I opened it, what I found inside were different exercises demonstrated in pictures by the Men’s Health male models. These guys looked amazing and the book said that if you do these exercises, you can look like that too!

I was hooked, and on that day back in 2010, I decided to cut back on the excuses and finally go for what I want.

I started off with some bodyweight exercises and soon decided to join a gym.

Luckily, my older brother, who had been going to the gym for 2-3 years at that point, took me under his wing and showed me around. That’s when I seriously started studying training and nutrition in an attempt to get the physique I’ve always wanted.

I started doing a simple but straightforward gym routine that I found online and I read everything I could get my hands on regarding training and nutrition.

In the beginning “it worked”. I started seeing visible improvements. I was becoming more muscular and more defined. It seemed like I was well on my way to getting the body I wanted.

But after the first few months passed, things began to slow down. I started struggling with my diet and training, and ultimately my progress came to a halt.

I was not about to quit on my dream body though…

So I Tried It All:

✘ I tried getting stronger because I read on the Internet that strength equals muscle and the stronger you get, the better your physique gets. Later I learned that though there’s correlation, a big part of getting stronger is simply training your central nervous system to become more efficient… which explains why my physique wasn’t changing even though I was lifting heavier and heavier weights at the gym.

✘ I tried a bunch of bodybuilding split routines (the good ol’ bro splits) where you hit each muscle once a week. Apparently that didn’t go anywhere.

✘ I tried different diets but found it hard to stick to them because they were either too extreme or too time-consuming.

✘ I went to the store and bought $150 worth of supplements. I probably don’t have to tell you how (in)effective that “solution” was…

All futile.

For the next 2 years I was spinning my wheels. I tried it all and yet I just couldn’t get through this damn plateau.

But just when I was starting to lose hope I had my big breakthrough.

See, I had already graduated school (thank god!) and went on to study economics in university. For my second year in university, I went to study abroad. My first job when I arrived in Coimbra, Portugal, was to find a gym.

I was new in town and I didn’t know anyone there, so I went to my university’s student relations office and when I asked where I can work out, they gave me the contact of the Olympic weightlifting team with the Faculty of Sport Sciences and Physical Education.

That’s how I met Alex – the Olympic weightlifting team’s coach and a retired competitive Olympic lifter who almost qualified for the Olympics.

Alex had over 20 years of experience – he had started Olympic weightlifting when he was 16.

Though I didn’t do Olympic weightlifting and just used their gym to do standard exercises, Alex had a lot of experience getting people lean and ripped (just check out Olympic weightlifters’ physiques and you’ll get what I mean).

Alex designed an individualized exercise and nutrition plan for me and he coached me every step of the way, answering every question I had regarding optimal training and nutrition.

With his help and guidance, and with my continual efforts over the span of the next 10 months, I finally managed to develop a lean athletic model-fit physique I can be proud of.

Why I Started Helping Others:

When I came back home from Portugal my family and friends were shocked. I was in the best shape of my life and everyone noticed. Girls even started eyeing me on the street. I felt more confident than ever – and it showed.

That’s also when I started being noticed by agencies and photographers, and getting my first modelling gigs.

Quite a few of my friends who struggled with getting in shape asked me how I managed to make such a transformation. I helped them out with their exercise and nutrition plans and in that process I got my first taste of coaching others.

I knew how frustrating it is to try bogus diets and exercise routines one after another to no avail, and I also knew what the process of transforming my body did for my confidence and for my life, so I spent the next 3 years mastering physique transformation methods and adopting Alex’s coaching approach.

In the mean time, I also got PN certified and launched this website along with my online coaching program in order to help guys develop a lean athletic male model physique and live the model-fit lifestyle.
